dryer dosen’t spin--broken drive belt
Remove the lint filter.
Access the belt by removing the top of the dryer cabinet. It is held on by clips that allow it to be pried off, no screws to deal with. I used a thin wooden wedge to avoid chipping the enamel.
Remove the wires from the door mounted switch, remove the screws that attach the front of the cabinet, and remove the front.
The dryer drum is unsupported after removing the front of the cabinet. This allows the new belt to be slipped over the drum.
With a broken belt it isn’t obvious how to route the belt through the tensioner, but 30 seconds of trial and error should yield the solution.
Reattach the wires to the door switch.
During reassembly notice the felt support bearing around the door opening and be sure to keep it smooth and flat as you join the front panel to the drum.

The dryer belt had broken
The dryer belt had squealed almost since the dryer was new. It finally broke so I had to replace it.
It actually is a very simple process to replace the belt once you know that you have to take the two lint trap screws out to get the top to pop up. I then took off the front by lifting up on it and removed the dryer tub. That is when I found the reason the belt had squealed from very early on. Instead of having a tension pulley like most dryers, this dryer had a teflon pad for the back ot the belt to ride on which created undue friction and wore the belt out very quickly.

I ordered a universal pulley tensioner to replace the Mickey Mouse pad set up and reassembled the dryer. It now runs better than it ever did before. If you have to replace a belt and see that your dryer has a teflon tensioner pad versus the tensioner pulley then I would strongly recommend replacing the pad with the pulley.

My wife says the dryer operates much better now and dries the clothes in half the time as before.

Broken belt
i first unplugged the power. I took off the screws to the lint trap, and removed the lid. I unhooked the wires so that the lid could be rested against the wall. I then unscrewed the front cover, and lifted it to remove it. I then put the belt around the drum, and then placed the pully back into place and routed the belt through it and around the motor. I then replaced front cover and screwed it back on. I then put the wires back together and put the cover back on. I replaced the lint trap screws and plugged it back in. Yeah - dry clothes!

The tumbler in the dryer stopped tumbling
My dryer stopped working Sunday night and I was lucky enough to only need to replace a broken belt. I found your web site Monday morning and ordered the belt. Your web site and ordering process are very user friendly. To my amazement the belt arrived Tuesday before noon and when I got home from work it only took me about 15 minutes to complete the installation. I'm in my mid-fifties and have to say it's unfortunate that experiences like what I just had with your company are rare but I'm delighted with your obvious focus on total customer satisfaction. You are now bookmarked in my favorites for life! Until my next repair.

Started dryer, a bit later heard a clank by dryer. Checked it out, and saw that drum was not turning.
Had to remove face of cabinet that houses washer and dryer. Removed two screws from top of dryer in back, lifted top and removed two screws in front of dryer so I could get to the drum. The hard part was figureing out how to get belt around the tensioner. Got that figured out, reversed all above and turned on dryer, and yee haw, it worked.

Belt broke on dryer
My husband did the repair. He said that it was a bit tough at first to figure out as he basically had to take apart the entire dryer, but once he did that, it was pretty simple to figure out. He had a tough time figuring out how to thread the belt through the tensioner, but eventually determined that the entire belt goes through it, doubled over.
