Where do you change the water filter?
For model number 79551833416
Hello Carol, thank you for getting in touch. The water filter for your model is in the right top corner of your fresh food section. Press the push button to open the water filter cover. Pull the water filter downward and pull out. Make sure to rotate the filter down completely before pulling it out of the manifold hole. Take the new water filter out of its packing and remove the protective cover from the o-rings. With the water filter tabs in the horizontal position, push the new water filter into the manifold hole until it stops. We hope this helps.
Removed ice dispenser and display with small screwdriver from front of the fridge. Pried out the whole piece slowly. This exposed the motor that activates the chute. Plugged in the new motor before any removal to verify the motor was the problem. When it worked, removed old and installed new. 3 screws. Piece of cake.
I didn't because the part was never delivered. The box was apparently damaged according to the tracking. Your company didn't bother to communicate that they couldn't send another one without a new order. They also didn't give a refund until I contacted them because they are just too busy. Your company was a huge waste of time. Publish that. Go ahead.
