79093752104 Kenmore Range - Instructions

After a brief discussion with CS about the electric stove part was shipped it arrived and I proceeded to install I found it needed to be installed sideways not up & down like the old one. The terminals did not line up so I put the black lead first and the purple lead last in doing that I burned out the switch??? was not easy to install as the video showed his switch matched each wire? My installation was sideways??

It went easy, I ordered the part from another vendor, received it in 3 days and it only took about 20 minutes to install.
I do not recommend ordering from PartSelect!

This was my first time ever working with electrical issues. My husband is not physically able to do repairs now. Very easy fix. Just viewed video repair instructions and it went exactly as instructed. Within 45 minutes, I had my stove repaired and cleaned and back in working order!! Great results. My range is working perfectly again and Mama is happy!!

Just pulled the old cook top burner out and put the new one in .it took about 1 1/2 minutes

The bulb has a plastic clear cover. That cover can just be carefully removed using a screwdriver. It's held in by a metal bracket. After you remove the cover. You'll just need to replace the bulb and then re-install the cover and bracket.

I had open back cover and remove the switch than replace new switch. Makesure cable conection.

Very easy just had to pull the wire up that holds it secure.

All you do it unplug the old one and plug in the new one.

Very simple. Removed oven rack that had melted residue on it and replaced it with the new one from your company. I want to tell you that the delivery service I received was just geat. Took less than 48 hours to arrive at my home from the time I placed the order on line. Keep up the good work and I will be happy to share my experience with those in need of you services. Thanks. There is an installation video , but it was so easy, and if you clean your drip pans from those inevitable spills you can do this. I have zero mechanical abilities and I did. The website makes it easy to find your part, and the original literature you got with your appliance will direct you where to find the Model # and serial # on your Frigidaire Range. Order your part on line, get it in the mail and insert the Element yourself.Very happy with my transaction.

Removed rear panal, removed screws from of switch. Unplued wires and installed new switch and put back together. Very easy.

I was forced to call in a pro repairman. Will cost me at least $150 for part and repairman. I could have done job if instructions on how to rewire had been included.

Pretty easy installation; you lift the top plate up and snip the wires maybe four inches away from the burner. Leave more wire than you think you need; once you get into it you'll realize you need more wire length than you think.

Then strip the remaining ends, twist them together with the provided caps, and use the heat shrink to hold it together. Remove the old terminal, replace it with the new ones, and you're good to go!

Remember to check that the wires are tight in the cap before heat shrinking, though. I had to get more shrink wrap in order to finish.

Pulled oven out, took the screws out of back plate cover plate with socket wrench, pulled connectors out through the back, removed the door, pushed the element rods through the two holes, connected the two wires, screwed the element in, put the hangars on for the element, put the back plate on and turned the broiler on, worked great, put the range door back on and has been working great. Great company, hope not to use them again, but good to know they are there with my part.
