used putty knife to to raise the top, took out two screws, replaced parts , then closed the top.

Disconnected both power and hot and cold input water lines. Laid the washer on its front side for access to the bottom. Removed the small access panel from the back of the machine to remove the metal screws holding the pump in place. Removed the single drive belt. New pump installed easily, replaced the belt and access panel. Reconnected the power and water hoses and everything worked fine.

Changing the hinge was not difficult, but here's a hint: the top of the washer raises up if you pry it with a big screwdriver- be sure to wrap the screwdriver in a cloth so as not to scratch the appliance. Doing it this way makes it easy to access the retaining screws. You can push the wash tub to one side and reach the screws from underneath, but they're a tight fit and doing it that way is difficult. Overall a pretty easy repair and I'm only moderately handy.

Removed access panel to expose pump, removed drive belt, and old pump, repeated the avove steps in reverse order, tested for leaks and proper operation.

I had my 12 year old son climb to the back and he took off all the screws necessary in the back and took the part completely off. We ordered the part and waited for it to come in. We replaced the part, the screws and honestly, the only thing we had trouble with was replacing the small cover where the hoses stick out of the washer. Was an easy efficient experience that may have saved me $300.00+ dollars. Thanks to my 12 year old son we got her fixed up. The washer works like brand new.

Disconnect all water supply and unplug washer. Remove 3 screws on back panel of the washer. This will expose the pump unit. Detach belt on the bottom of the washer. Then detach two hoses that connects to the pump unit. Use pliers if necessary to disconnect hoses. Use 5/16 socket with extension to take out three bolts the connect pump to the washer. That's it, now replace old pump unit and with new. Place bolts back in the 3 holes, reattached hoses, cover the back with 3 scres. Connect the belt to the pulley system on the bottom. Connect water supply and plug it in.

after doing some research I found out that a loose or slipping water pump belt could cause the water pump to not pump out the water correctly. Under the washer is the belt. All you do is have someone lift the front of the washer up enough that you can reach under and remove the belt. Then replace the belt back like you took it off.

pulled the machine out, tilted it backward to expose the bottom. pulled off the old belt. got the new belt started on the three pulleys. pulled the belt to spin it , and...............done !!

Piece of cake. Raise up the front of the machine. the belt slips of easy by turning the main drive wheel. put the belt on the two small one and then rotate the big wheel as you slip the belt into the grove. good idea to first clean the wheels of any old belt material that may be worn off. Piece of cake!

First I got everything I needed, unplugged the washer. Using the puddy knife I freed the top of the washer by inserting the knife about four inches from each side on front. The machine is in a place where it can not be pulled out far, hence the two by fours. Remove the loose cover, reach in with the stubby and unscrew the screw on both sides. Take the broken cover pins off the cover and install the new ones, put the other hinges in the cover, put the hole cover in place and install the one screw perside, remove wood and close the hole top, your in business , no drinking

tipped the washer back, laid on the floor, and wrapped new belt around 3 pulleys. everything works as before.

Tilted machine back, put a paint can under it and did R & R with belts.

Replaced the hose. two clamps and retainers. very basic repair

removed hoses and belt. removed 3 screws that secured pump. and then removed pump. received new pump and just reversed the process to repair!

UNPLUG ELECTRICITY. I pulled out the washing machine turned the water off pulled all of your hoses from the back of the machine there may be a mess so you need some thing that will catch the water as it comes out of the hoses. On the bottom of the machine is a belt you have to remove it. Its easy just pull it off. On the back is a panel that you unscrew four screws. On the water pump it self you unscrew three screws. Then for the new part you do in reverse order screw your three screws back in put your hoses back on make sure your clamps are tight around your hoses or you will have a leak. Put your panel back on. Put your belt back on. Turn your water on from the wall plug in the electricity and you are done.
