59678339801 Kenmore Refrigerator - Instructions

Had to push the light switch to get lamp to light up.
Removed power from refrig. and removed old light switch
and replaced with the one I got from Partselect. Turned power back on and was done.

It was so easy. One small screw on the center hinge, slip the electrical connection off of the old one then slide the mullion off of the top and bottom connections. After sliding the new one on and connecting the electrical just screwing in the screw and done. It works perfectly.

Watched a couple of videos. Removed left side hinge first, then did the same to the right side hinge. Part was installed in reverse order. Installation took less than 60 seconds.

Pried out the old switch and installed the new switch.

Removed top plastic cover on hinge. Disconnect electrical plug and water line which run through this area. Remove 3 screws and lift left side Refrig door off bottom hinge. Remove bottom hinge and replace with new one. put door back on bottom hinge and fasten top hinge in place with 3 screws, connect water line and electric plug together again. replace top cover.

Repair was very simple.

I noticed the coils very dusty dirty, tried brushing it clean, ended up blowing it clean. I noticed the condenser fan motor was never turning, I had power, so I ordered a new one. I actual received the evaporator motor, so I had to order the correct one. After changing it, and it started blowing right away. But my refrigerator is still warm. I do not know where the evaporator blower motor is located. I cannot make out from the diagram breakdown. HELP

This is 3rd time this part in about 5 years has needed replcement. If there is a next time I would expect a "freebe". Service is great and replacement rail came in jig time.

In less than 1 minute I put the crisper glass in place. I wa overwhelmed at the speed in which I received this part. It was ordered on monday evening and I received it on wednesday morning. PartSelect was a life saver as the repair was just day before Christmas.

The repair was very simple, just put the parts in place. We were very please with the quick shipment and the good prices.

Repair was tremendously easy. All I did was remove old light switch by prying out with screw driver and plugging in the new light switch and pushing it into the hole. Simple! The instructions weren't needed, but they were very thorough.

Shut off water supply. filter is located in the upper right hand corner of the refrigerator on the inside. open the drop-down door. by hand pull the filter downward. then twist it to the left one quarter turn. it should pull out. I replaced it with a filter bypass plug. you can purchase a high quality filter to replace.it don't buy cheap filter.I made that mistake! hope this helps good luck!

Installed the Dairy Door on the new Dairy Tray. Removed the old tray, replaced the new tray on the refrigerator door. The vegetable and fruit drawers were removed and the glass shelf was removed. The new plastic rail was placed in the slot and the shelf replaced. The drawers were replaced.

The hardest part of this job was to select and purchase the correct parts. Your website mad that task easy.

Replace with. New part. Website made selecting the correct simple. Easy to order. Prompt delivery. Quite easy to replace broken part with new part. Now the door shuts automatically again and seals very tight. Successful experience!
