59665932405 Kenmore Refrigerator - Instructions

Removed both crispers and shelf . Inserted new rail as explained in video. Replaced everything.

Removed the glass shelf, position the rail in its slots and replaced the glass shelves.

Removed the storage bins. Removed the whole shelf, remove the glass part.(clean everything while you are at it, which is why it took 15-30 minutes) Lift out old rail and replace it with the new, reinstall shelf and glass. If you choose to not to clean, just take out the glass shelf, replace rail and put it back in. .

The instruction video was so helpful. I watched it before I ordered the part to be sure I was able to make the repair. The replacement part arrived quicker than I expected. Cleaning the shelf & bins was the most time consuming part of the job. The replacement part fit in place perfectly. My fridge is good as new again!

Removed the six screws holding the bottom access plate found at the rear of the refrigerator. This gives you easy access to the run capacitor that has a retaining clip. Remove the wire clip and pull out the capacitor (it has two quick disconnect terminals). Reverse the process using the new run capacitor to complete the repair.

Noted the Damper Assemby in the upper rear of refrig section,was always staying open during checks for problems. Controls appeared to be controlling temp changes when adjusted. Pulled the damper assemby after removing two screws holding the diffuser/cover(diffuser pops off with screwdriver) Damper assembly snaps out , unplug wires, snap new damper assembly in place, reconnect wires at the plug, replace cover with foam insulation, secure with screws replace diffuser snaping in place. Recheck settings for desired temperatures.

The unit has two fans on it. One is located in the back and the other is locate inside the freezer section behind the panel. Remove the four bolts holding the door to the sliding rack. Remove the ice machine. Remove the back panel. Noticed that the fan was covered in ice thus shorting the fan motor. Tested for voltage to the fan was good. Replaced evaporator fan motor and unit works perfectly

Removed back cover. Removed fan with mount which was a little difficult. Installed new pan and parts that were removed. Part came in one day. Great service.

Unplug the refrigerator and pull it out so you can work behind it.I had to get a helper to lean the refrigerator forward and let it rest on a towel I placed on the countertop. The tray was underneath the refrigerator near the back so I leaned it forward enough to remove the metal plate that holds the tray in place. I placed a scotch behind the front wheels to keep it from rolling backward off the counter it was resting on. I had to remove the cover from the unit on the lower back side of the refrigerator to see how the tray was moumted. Once you remove the plate you have to slide the fan off the tray and then you can remove the tray. Simply reverse the whole process to install the new tray, upright the refrigerator and plug it back in to the outlet.

I did it exactly how the video that was shown when I purchased the new rail. Following those instructions worked perfectly.

Followed the instructions on the website. Removed glass shelf, installed rail and replaced salad crisper bins and glass shelf. Less than 5 minutes!

It was so simple! Removed the glass shelf that sits atop the vegetable bins, inserted the center crisper rail, put the glass shelf back on top of it and replaced the vegetable bins. I loved that I didn't have to bother my husband to do it! Very happy at how fast the part came after I ordered it.

remove crisper baskets. Remove glass shelf above baskets. remove broken rail note front and back end of rail. Place new rail with same orientation as old rail. Very easy repair.

I followed the video instructions and had no problems changing the part.

Lift the glass shelf up, slip center rail in place, lower shelf. Time 1 minute.It takes more time to remove everything on the shelf than to replace the part.
