Broken Door Catch
This was one of the simpliest repairs I have ever done taking less than 5 minutes to complete. On the inner door I removed the two screws that hold the plastic catch in place. I then removed the broken catch and put the new catch in place. Finally I replaced the two screws that hold the catch in place and it was done.

The door catch broke and the door would not close.
First, I had to remove 2 screws to take off the 2 broken pieces of the door catch. Then I put the new one on using the same 2 screws. The door is now able to close, but does not lock properly. In order to make it work, I put a thin piece of rubber into the place where the door meets the machine. This causes the lock to engage and the machine to work. I don't know how much longer it will work since the repairman claims that the main bearing is going, but hopefully it will last a bit longer.

Part Select got the part to me in one day using the standard shipping, which was impressive. I just wish that I hadn't wasted money on calling a repairman only to have him tell me that he didn't have the part. He charged for the visit anyway even though I told him ahead of time the problem and the model of my machine.

Washing maching wouldn't drain
Removed the top of the washer by removing the 4 back screws and 2 small brackets. Then I removed the front panel, this was actually the hardest part, 2 screws and 8 tabs that you pop out carefully from the top of the panel. I only disconnected the power button and was able to rest the panel on top of the washer. The rest of the washer came apart quickly just moving down the front of the washer and removing the door, latch, tub gasket, drain cover. Removing the pump was just a mater of disconnecting the drain hoses, and one clip under the drain assembly. 3 screws attach the drain to assembly to the pump and only 2 wires that are clearly marked. Reassembly is just going back through in reverse order of disassenbly. The best thing about this is that it all comes apart with a standard phillips screwdriver.
