Leaky valve
I looked at the photos of the valves posted on the PartSelect website and selected what I thought was the right one. It came in the mail within a couple of days and it was not the right one ... the electrical connectors were very slightly different. I went back online and determined that I had better telephone the service number as there were four valves that, upon further inspection, looked pretty much the same ... and it's good that I did! The service guy looked up my refrigerator model number and told me I needed part XYW even though I thought part KLM looked more like the old valve. The part came the next day - amazing shipping time - and I installed the new valve and life is good!

No ice in hopper
Ice hopper had no ice in it. But water in door worked and if I added ice to hopper, it would dispense in door. I added water to ice maker but no ice was made. Replaced ice maker and all it required was to unplug harness and remove two screws with nut driver. Easy!

The ice maker needed replacing for a couple of years. Then, a couple of weeks ago, the water supply stopped serving both the ice maker, and the drink dispenser.
I ordered both a new replacement ice maker, and a new solenoid/pump. They were delivered to my house within one day and I had them installed in a matter of an hour. I had to use the power extension cord supplied with the ice maker.
The new "quick connect" hose couplings on the new pump are great.

Door dropped. Cam riser was gone
Emptied the refrigerator door so it was easier to take off. Used a screwdriver to remove the screw on the top hinge. Lifted door off bottom hinge. Laid the door down so I could take the bottom hinge off. Removed worn out parts and placed the new one on. Slipped door back on hinge, made sure it would close properly and was lined up with freeze door. Put top hinge back in place. Done!! Now door finally shuts on its own again!!! EASY!!!

Old ice-maker went SOUTH
If a 74 year old guy can install an ice-maker in a 20 + year old fridge in 20, or so, minutes it must have had good pictures and BIG PRINT. Working quite well at this time!

Hinge assembly spacer at bottom hinge failed breaking up in small pieces
Followed other messages to complete fix. Simple overall.
Please note that if you buy the hinge assembly, you get spacer parts that mate. If you don't you have to hack-saw the rivot off the old hinge assembly to do your repair. Hinge assembly cost more but less work.

The Door hinge cam broke apart
Discovered the door cam was broken. Did a search, found the part on PartSelect.com. Read the repair stories and realized I need two cams. So I just bought the whole hinge assembly figuring it would be a little easier and did not cost that much more.
Put blocks under the door, unbolted the old hinge from the refrig, and the old cam from the door. Replaced them with the new parts, and I was all set. Took about 15 to 20 minutes. Had my wife stand by the door just in case it fell, which I knew it wouldn't.

Icemaker stopped cycling and wouldn't make ice
I removed the lower screw (not needed for the new icemaker), loosened the 2 top screws, unplugged the wire harness and removed the old icemaker. Unpacked the new icemaker assembly from the box, wiped the ice cube depressions to remove any debris, snapped on the water tube adapter, hung the new assembly on the 2 loosened upper screws and tightened the screws. The wire harness required the supplied pigtail plug which made the wire assembly long and awkward to replace the ice bucket/dispenser assembly, plugged it in and was done. It took a total of about 10 minutes for the entire operation and had a full bin of ice cubes within 36 hours and was ready for the ice dispenser/crusher in the freezer door. Easy install!

Door sagged and would not stay closed
Don't even need to empty the shelves in the door.
Just prop the door up with a block of wood from the floor to the bottom of the door. Lay on the floor and replace the parts.
The door was acting up for a long time. I wish I had researched and repaired the problem a long time ago. Now it works great!

My Icemaker arm was broken. It didnt move up or down by itself.
I removed the ice tub. Removed the screw on the left side that holds closed the section where the icemaker plug is connected. Disconnected the plug. Then removed the bottom right screw. I was then able to remove the Icemaker by unhooking it from the bcak freeze wall. I disconnected the icemaker from the fan gaurd. Removed the icemaker cover. unscrewed the 3 icemaker screws and opened up the chamber. removed the old Ejector Blade Drive Cam by removing the outer srew that hold the gear to the icemaker. changed the cam with the new one and reassembled everything.
