3523XRA Magic Chef Range - Instructions

Turn Off the BREAKER!!!
Unplug the stove/oven
Opened the oven door
Unscrewed the baking element for the oven
Pulled the old element out about 3"
Disconnected the wire clip on both sides
Plugged the element into the clips
Screwed element back into place
Plugged oven in ,turned on breaker
PRESTO DONE

I received the new element on the third day, followed simple directions, and voila! I'm baking again.
First I unplugged the stove. Important!. Then with a phillips head screwdriver I removed the two screws at the back of the oven. The transition from busted to new was easy because there was a slide-in connection to the wires, not screws. The best advice was sticking duct tape on the wires so they wouldn't go back into the inner sanctum before I was able to attach the new element. Hey, I'm a 72-year-old grandma, and it was easy!

Turn off breaker.
Unscrew old element, disconnect wires.
Connect wires to new element, tighten screws.
Breaker back to ON.
Done.

First throw the breaker on the stove. Remove two screws in back of oven then slowly pull out loosen the wire attachements ......got new part in 2 days just as simple reverse the removal directions.,,,I am over 60 female and it was simple.

The burner wouldn't work. I just plugged in the new one and all was done.

Piece of cake. Removed the Phillips screw with screwdriver, placed new one on the slide and used old screw to screw it in place. Drawer does not lean to one side anymore.

Removed old element, pluged in new element.

Easy to put into place and done....Could have called this in, because place of business is in Louisville, close to me. Delivery was quick.

I can't believe how easy this was to fix! I amazingly found the part on-line at PartSelect website. I love that you pick part by size, color, etc. I didn't have a part or model number, so this made it super easy! I ordered the part and got it in the mail within 2 days....YEAH! The repair was easy as unplugging the range, unscrewing the bake element from the oven, pulling the wires out, unplugging the element and plugging the new element in. The oven works great after the repair! Too easy!! If I have to explain how I replaced the light bulb; you may not want to try it, you might hurt yourself.

I Unscrewed the attachment plates located at the back of the over. Pulled the element out so that I could "unhook" the prongs. Replaced the new element by clipping on the prong attachement (you will see where the electrical wires are). Screwed the plates back on and Vola! I'm baking again.

Removed what was left of the original clips. Pressed in the new clips and snapped in the themostat blub

Turned off power circuit to oven. Removed old element by unscrewing two nuts attaching unit to back of oven. Used pliers to help release electrical connections at both ends of element. Re-attached connections to new unit. Screwed nuts back into place. Turned power back on and cooked dinner. Total time for repair was less than 5 minutes.

Thursday afternoon the part arrived! Saturday, we opened the oven, took out the old unit, and put in the new. It worked fine! Thanks again!!

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about three inches and disconnected the two wires, being careful not to pull the plugs off. I then inserted the new element and reattached holders. It was very easy and took less than five minutes. The part arrived amazingly quickly. The stove works great now.
