I purchased a relay called a 3 'n 1 start. I'm not real sure where to go on this. Nothing looks like the picture they showed me at the parts store. The colors are also different from what the diagram shows on the new part. Can anyone help?
For model number 2539209381
Hello Daniel, Thank you for writing. Since the part is not from us and we do not carry universal or aftermarket parts, we would not have instructions non how to install them. We can only suggest OEM parts that are made for the appliance to avoid damage to the appliance, also for proper fit and operations. We hope this helps!
I accidently threw away both freezer keys to our upright Gibson and G.E. Freezers!!!! I had no luck finding replacements locally, so I got on the internet and came across PartSelect.com. I called them on the telephone; and after giving the model numbers of my freezers, the keys were on their way!! I received the keys very quickly and both worked perfectly. I would highly recommend Partselect.com. Charlotte M. Bishop
We ordered the part, which was a key, tied it on the freezer door handle, locked the door and voila, the problem was fixed. (We still have the children. :-)
I unplugged electrical cord to the freezer. I removed the cover to the relay and load protector. I labeled the wires and made a diagram on the proper placement of each wire going to the relay. I unplugged each wire and removed the relay. Then I removed the load protector. I installed the new load protector and new relay. I placed the wires on the proper terminals of the relay. I replaced the electrical cover to the relay and load protector. I plugged the electrical cord back in the electrical outlet. My freezer started working again. I placed several bottles of water in the freezer to make sure the freezer was working properly before I restocked it with food.
Thanks again for the help. You just saved me about $400.
