Ice maker no working
Removed water line. Removed two screws holding valve. Disconnected line from valve going to Ice maker. Replaced screws and water line. Most important thing in working with Parts Select was the information they provided when I called them. I had called electrolux and was given no information and was told they would send out a repairman at which point I told them to get lost. Cost of part $30.00 vs service call of $75.00.

Added an ice maker
Instructions were very good. Easy to do. Need to put in instructions, that you will NOT hear anything until about 8 hours later. Just because it is plugged in, water on...no sounds until 8 hrs later, and will hear the water doing into the ice maker.

Valve nut stripped
Old part threads : made in China (brass) New part : made in Mexico (steel). First, unplugged it from the wall. As for the valve, removed the two screws holding the valve in, disconnected the plug, took the pipe cutter, cut the blue line to the ice maker, cleaned up the cut, pushed that line into the new one and reassembled. Done!

Fan would not start occasionally
I unscrewed the screws that held the old fan on, disconnected the wiring harness and removed the old fan. I pulled the blades off the motor and put it on the new fan. One thing of note, the screw holes on the new fan weren't threaded. I assume this is by design, so I used the screws to thread the holes before installing it in the freezer. Once I did this, the rest of the installation was easy, just screw it back in and connect the wiring harness.

ice maker will not make ice
Installed new fill valve in less than 30 minutes and waited for 24-8 hours for results to no avail. Ice maker mechanism was shot and still would not work. Went to Lowes and bought entire ice maker add on kit for my model ice box and installed in 30 minutes and have been making ice ever since. Your 99% cure rate was 100% incorrect. Save the time and effort and go to a big box store and just get a new ice maker. By the way, it only costs about $20 more to do that.

Would not freeze or defrost
Unplug freezer let stand all night to defrost. Remove the tray cover which is located on the upper back area inside the freezer.( 3 twist fittings remove it ). Remove the upper stainless steel panel which is secured with 6 screws. This will drop down exposing the condenser. Note all the wires and fan will stay attached to the stainless steel panel, this panel will drop down no need to unplug anything. On the left upper side next to the condenser you will see the thermostat. Two color coded wires. Remove the thermostat and install the new one at the same location.

Freezer was no longer keeping items frozen,
I followed the You-Tube instructions, removed the ice from the compressor and replaced the thermostat with the part I received from Part Select. What I took out was a part that was very much inferior to the replacement part. The repair saved me a lot of money for a new freezer and it was not difficult to do following the video. Now the freezer runs better and quieter than ever. Thank you Parts Select.
