I can only start engine when using starter fluid, once running it will not idle down. what can I do?

Hi Roger, thank you for the inquiry. If the lawn mower will only start with the use of starting fluid, you may have a fuel supply problem, such as a faulty or dirty carburetor. We would recommend checking the carburetor, part number PS9983395, to fix the issue. We hope this helps!
