clip broke off
We had been sticking part of a clothespin in the door for a few months, My husband looked up the assembly on line and we decided we were going to go for it. We probably saved a pretty pricey service call. The back panel had to come off, the two screws holding the lint trap, and lift up the top of the dryer. I think the hardest part was actually getting the old part off without snapping it. All and all my husband and I were very happy with ourselves.

Dryer was making bad noises like a bearing was going out, then it got worse and sounded really loud, so I couldn't even run it.
Followed the instructions found online. Only thing I would add is that the clips are easier to work with if you warm them up a little before you try to install them.

The plastic part on the door catch was broken
I removed the metal piece which held the plastic "catch". There were no screws, squeeze to remove it. Then inserted the plastic part and re-inserted the metal part into the dryer door. Very simple. But even more pleasing was the easy ordering and the quick delivery of the part! Thank you so much!

Dryer did not start. Test connection, indicating switch is bad.
Did as your video instruction. To me the order of work needs attention: Remove the switch, unscrew 1st, then remove the hook and wire connection. Installation: connect the wire first, then hook to the frame, the last step is screw in the switch. That should prevent accident dropping the switch inside the dryer.

Dryer continued to run when the door was opened.
An online video provided perfect instructions. Unplug the dryer. Remove the Lint filter and see two Phillips screws located on the top of the machine, then remove the screws. Then slide a stiff, thin putty knife under the right front corner between the top and the front panel. The clip inside has small feet holding it in place, so you need to angle the putty knife up slightly, then push in towards the back of the dryer while lifting up on the top. The corner will lift away from the front. Repeat the process on the other front corner. Now lift up the top that is hinged at the rear. I used a 24" 1 x 2 board to keep the top up. Open the front door and remove the two screws that hold the switch in place then unplug the switch on the inside of the dryer and remove. Plug in the new switch (2 or 3 wires may be present, but it doesn't matter). Attach the new switch using the two screws you removed. Lower the lid and tap each front corner to reengage the clips, then put the two screws back in at the lint filter. Replace the filter, plug the dryer back in, and you're done. I honestly think that it took longer to type these instructions than it took to do the actual repair.

Noisy, screeching, sounded like roller bearings were shot
Watched the video, followed the printed instructions for reminder when necessary. Needed a second person briefly to hold the dryer tub when installing the new belt, and also when removing/replacing the front panel. Beyond that, it was straight forward and relataively easy to do. Solved the noise problems and it dries more evenly now as well. The one thing the instructions don't say is to check the rear canvas seal when the tub is re-inserted into place to assure it doesn't fold back on itself.

At age 74 I could have used stronger hands than I have
Putty knife was not enough for me I had to use a flat head screw driver to open the dryer. I had difficulty getting the old switch off had to use a flat head screw driver and needle nose pliers to get it off. New switch went on and the closing of the dryer was a breeze.
