Hello, Thank you for your question. We only list the main hinge which allows it to open the way it was purchased. The cycle doesn't change easily by the knob, it will take a few minutes turning back and forth to try and get the wash cycle we need. Would this be the circuit board or the knob worn out, no clicking as the knob moves anymore. Thank You

Hi Larry, thank you for contacting us. Check the control knob for any damage first. If it is fine, the issue could be with the user interface control board, part number PS11746714. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!

Get an F28 Error Message. Have tried running Diagnostic Test, no change. Explanation says: Communication b/w the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the Motor Control Unit (MCU) cannot be sent correctly. Is there additional trouble shooting I can do to narrow problem? Is there a way I can determine if it is the CCU or the MCU? Thanks

Hello Charles, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the error code F28 indicates a communication error between the motor control board and the main control board. Before replacing, we would recommend testing both the boards and replace the faulty control board. The motor control board for your model is part number PS11749298. It monitors and controls the drive motor's speeds and directions and sends the information to the main control board. We hope this solves your problem!

Washer quit 22 min's into a 54 min Normal Wash cycle, LED screen went dark, door remained locked. Prior to this event we had the washer stop during a cycle and the LED on the panel had all illuminated (flickered) a bit and went dark. That time we tried pressing a few buttons and it came back on. That's why we had a stop watch on it this time as I suspected that perhaps changing from a wash to rinse cycle ( I can't find any sequence timer info to know what happens specifically at 22 mins in), something went wrong. The washer has worked fine. CHecked the normal filter, pump impeller, etc. and nothing seemed clogged or out of place. Help!

Water leak from bottom of door.
I discovered water leaking from the bottom of the door on our Kenmore front load washer. I did a little self diagnosis from the internet and found that this seems to be a common problem for front load Kenmore washers and that the ususal suspect is the large rubbery bellows. I examined the bellows on my washer and although I didn't find anything wrong with it, I couldn't find any other likely causes. I shopped around and found PartSelect to be the cheapest for the replacement part. Removal is easy by removing the lower front panel with three small screws on the bottom front, then remove the very top panel and then the top front control panel and finally the door panel. the bellows are actually held in place with a spring loop on the outer and a screw tightener on the inner, both are fairly easy to remove and the bellows comes right off. For installation my best advice is to lube the bellows with a small amount of dishwashing soap in the groove that fits on the washer tub. This will help it slide into place and enables a small amount of sliding fine tuning once it is on. From there it is just a reverse of the removal.

Door latch module was defective
This model is a front-loading washer. The spring loaded retainer for the front of the boot must be removed, then the boot can moved to the side exposing the module. Remove the two screws holding the model, pull the model out, remove the three electrical plugs, then reverse this procedure to install new module.
