With spark plug in it in very hard almost impossible to pull the crank rope, with the spark plug out it pulls very easily. What may be the cause?

Hello Ken, thank you for the great question. According to our research on your model, the starter crank rope can get stuck due to hydraulic lock, which is caused by oil getting trapped in the combustion chamber. You will need to release the compression spring and the oil, so remove the spark plug and then give the cord a tug. Don’t be surprised to see some oil run out through the hole where the spark plug is. We hope this information is useful!
