Element showed a hot spot prior to failing open.
Replaced element. Removed shelves, removed two screws and lifted/wiggles old element out to pull wires off at connectors. Reversed process installing new element and truned on to test/burn off "newness" Done!
turned off main power; took a flash light, unscrewed existing element and disconnected it from the wiring; compared existing with new elements as the shipping label said "ABSOLUTELY NOTHING MAY BE RETURNED IF IT APPEARS THAT IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED"; it appeared to be close enough but not exact. Connected wiring to new element, shoved it back into the insultation, screwed in the element with the same screws. Viola' all worked as it should. I even set my oven on the "self clean" cycle which is 3 hours on high. Overall it was very easy.

replaced the burned out bake element in my wall oven
first, I watched the video that partselect provides, then followed the instuctions that I learned from the video, I turned off the power to the appliance, removed the oven racks, removed the screws from the plate that held the oven rack in place and gently pulled it out far enough to remove the ends of the element from the electrical current wires, finished removing the burnt out element and replaced it with the new one from Partselect by repacing the new element ends on the electrical current wires and screwed it into place and replaced the racks, turned on the power and baked my pie. I am a 71 year old widow who was able to accomplish this with the good instructions provided by Partselect, this was the first time I have ever tried to do anything like this on my own.

bake element cracked in two pieces
First removed the two screws that hold the element in place.I then pulled the element out about three inches and disconnected the two wires. The new element was put in place and reconnected to the two wires.The two screws to hold the element in place wre put back in.Very easy.

Lower heating element burned out
Take out 2 Phillips head screws. Pull the element out, not disturbing the insulation any more than necessary. Remove the 2 wires from the old element. Discard old element. Attach the 2 wires to the New element. Feed the wires back through the insulation. Replace the 2 Phillips head screws. Turn on oven to test. Done.

Oven wasn't baking; broiler was OK.
1. Switched the oven power off. 2. Tried unscrewing the two screws in the rear of the oven but they were too tight. Used a power screw driver to unscrew the bottom element. 3. Pulled element out and disconnected the two wires. 4. Attached the two wires to the new bake element and fastened it with the two screws. 5. Switched the oven power on. 6. Tested the oven with good results!

The bottom element of my wall oven stopped heating.
My neighbor came over to replace the element. The procedure was simple. Following the instructions given online, he turned off power to the oven, removed the screws holding the element, replaced the element, turned power back on, and now my oven works perfectly.

Baking heat element burned out
Removed oven racks removed 2 screws & pulled the element forward & disconnected the old element by wiggling the snap on connecters put in new element connected the snap on wires pushed it back in place & put both screws back in done in 10-15 minutes ??

What is the size of this element. And are the connecters slide together (like a crimped slip on )

Hello Susan, thank you for inquiring. This Bake Element is 14.75" from the front to the mounting bracket, and 14.25" wide. The connectors do not look like what you describe as 'crimp on element connectors'. We hope this helps.

I have a Frigidaire custom imperial oven. I've removed the screws holding the baking element, but something is keeping it from sliding out. It is loose but will only come out fraction of an inch before it is hung up.Thanks

Thank you for your question. Based on customer comments regarding the installation of the bake element, you will have to lift and wiggle the element out a bit to access the electrical wires still connected to it. Once the wires are removed, you can take the element out and install the new one. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

If the lower heating element is bad will it affect the upper heating element.

Thank you for your question. When you use the bake function on the oven, both the bake and the broil element will cycle on and off to provide heat in the oven. If the oven is not heating correctly, you will need to check the elements, the temperature sensor, the electronic control board and the wiring between the parts. Hello Susan, thank you for inquiring. This Bake Element is 14.75" from the front to the mounting bracket, and 14.25" wide. Very sorry but I am not sure what you mean by "I" connectors. The connectors on this element are push on, not screw on and do not have a hole. Hope this helps!
