Oven lights but shuts off after a little while
For model number GS465LELS
Hello Bill, Thank you for the question. This can be caused by a weak igniter not giving enough current to keep the valve open. You can test with a Multimeter to make sure it has 3.2 to 3.6 amps. You can also test the Valve. To do this you will need to check for resistance of 216 ohms from bake to common and from common to broil. We hope this helps!

oven coming on but shutting off in a few minutes and then coming back on and not reaching preheat temp.
For model number GS460LELB0
Hello David, thank you for getting in touch. If your oven is turning on but then shutting off after a few minutes and not reaching the preheat temperature, there could be several potential issues:
1. Thermostat or Temperature Sensor: The thermostat or temperature sensor might be faulty, causing the oven to incorrectly read the temperature and shut off prematurely.
2. Control Board: There could be an issue with the control board, which manages the oven's functions. If it's malfunctioning, it might not be sending the correct signals to maintain the oven's temperature.
Check the thermostat for continuity using a multimeter. If it is working fine, then you may need to replace the control board, part number PS11743392, to solve the problem. Glad to be of assistance!
