The Bosch Steam oven does not function at the oven indicates that the water tank is empty when it is actually full. I noticed two floats in the tank. The one at the mid point is all white and the one at the near bottom is white with a red ball in it. The Midpoint float does, in fact float when the tank is full. The lower float with the red dot does not float upwards when the tank is full. It there an optical sensor reading the position of the red float? Or is there a different sensor mechanism (magnetic?) being used. Do I need to “shake” it or get a new tank or a new circuit board? FYI the FD# of the unit is 9603. 040951 (serial number?). Manufacture date March 2016. Thanks in advance.

Hello David, thank you for your inquiry. We have found that the issue you are facing could be because of the faulty humidity sensor, part number PS12072379. It detects humidity inside the microwave and communicates the temperature to the electronic control board. Also, check whether if there is an issue with the water pipe or not. Thank you for the question!
