Good afternoon, i am having an issue with my LG fridge. Neither the water dispenser or ice dispenser work. The ice maker is making ice great (so water pressure and controls are good) the door switches on all door are working as they should. So i'm trying to find the part that both water and ice dispensers share that isn't working (and failed at the exact same time) and replace it. Any ideas would be appreciated!Thank you

is this the kit/part I will need to have the dispensing motor to turn. all other aspects work

Hello Lynus, thank you for getting in touch. Before replacing this control board, we would recommend checking the auger motor, part number PS12080202. If the auger motor is not malfunctioning, then replacing the control board will most probably solve the problem. We hope this helps.
My front panel has the water light on and does dispense water, but I can not switch to other options like the ice dispenser. Or anything else for that matter.

Hi! Our water dispenses, but the ice does not. The icemaker is functioning well (tons of ice). When you try to dispense it make a little noise like it’s trying, then gives up. Any ideas on what part that is? Thank you!

Hello Rashel, thank you for your question. It sounds like you need the Mirco Switch PS3529276. This switch is responsible for turning the ice dispenser on and off within the freezer compartment of the fridge. If this switch is damaged or shorted, it will cause the ice maker to work inconsistently, or not at all. We hope this helps.

Water dispenser light does not work. Water dispenses, but the light does not light.

How do I know when the refrigerators Dispensor Control Board Assembly has gone out? My ice despensor stopped making ice and the refrigerator shuts down frequently.

Hello Victor, thank you for getting in touch. If the dispenser control board is faulty, the ice dispenser will not work properly and there will be frequent refrigerator shutdowns. Other signs include inconsistent ice production, ice that is not dispensing properly, or ice that is a strange shape. Also, make sure the refrigerator evaporator coils, and condenser coils are clean. There is enough air flow in the refrigerator and freezer section. We hope this helps.
