This dishwasher dispenser makes sure your dishes get the right amount of detergent and rinse aid at just the right time. It has two separate compartments and releases each automatically during the wash cycle. If your current dispenser isn’t opening or latching properly, this part is a simple fix that attaches to the inside of the dishwasher door. It’s easy to install and helps your dishwasher clean more effectively. You’ll know it’s time to replace it if the lid won’t stay closed or if detergent isn’t being released during a wash.

Bosh detergent, rince aid dispenser. Great customer service, fast shipping
Part fit right in my bosh dishwasher, only gave 4 stars because the main plug would not fit the socket without using the socket sleeve from the old part..not a big deal but for someone not handy, could be an issue.

Disenser would not hold Finish solution - replaced unit
First - I watched 2 or 3 videos on how it was done. The operation was not as easy as the videos made it out to be. Removal of the old unit was straight forward using 6 coins as shims to spread open the metal clips that hold the unit in place was essential. One issue not covered well in the videos is supporting the control panel after it was removed. the wires hang and are supporting the panel which is not good. I used a bunch of masking tape to secure the control panel to the top of the door. Also - installing the new unit can really only be done by first, fully engaging the top of the dispenser and then forcibly "pushing" (I used a rubber mallet) the bottom into place. you need to make sure the clips are locked in on all sides. After the dispenser is in place and the wiring harness has been reattached, you need to tape the wiring onto the door to keep them out of the way. I then very loosely reattached the control unit by the top 2 screws. I then lowered to the door flat and weighted it down. I used a clamp on each side of the door to lift the cover up into place unit until it could screwed. and then jimmied the control panel into place

How do you replace soap dispenser?
For model number SHE4AM15UC/01
Hi Gail,
That is a terrific question. I have a video on our website that you may reference under part number PS11746408 which will show you how to install it. I hope this helps with the repair.
The soap dispenser does not dispense soap all the time is there a way to clean it or will it have to be replaced and if it needs replaced do you have a part no. And video
For model number SHE53TF5UC/02
Hello Ken, Thank you for the question. You can try to run a empty cycle with vinegar. It might take 2 loads depending on the soap build up. This should break down the build up and clean the dispenser. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

I see 2 Detergent Dispensers listed. Which one is correct for my Bosch Dishwasher? My Model Number complete SHV53T53UC/02. It wouldn't let me append the 02. There is also a FD940400355 blow the Model Number on the tag, maybe Serial Number.
Thanks

Dishwasher does not dispense detergent. Is there a video for this part?
For model number SHX3AR75UC
Hi John,
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately we do not have a video of how to install this part. You will have to remove your outer door. Then remove your control panel and disconnect the wire harness. You will also have to disconnect the wires from the dispenser, reed switch, and wax motor as well. You will also have to use a screw driver to bend back the retainer tabs and the push dispenser inward. You can now replace the part from inside of tank. After that has finished you will have to position the o ring and then bend tabs to secure the dispenser into place. It is recommended that you wear gloves to protect your hands. Good luck with your repair.

Hi Nicole,
Thank you for your question. This part cannot be installed the way that that other dispenser is installed. We have listed the steps for installation in a previous answer: "Unfortunately we do not have a video of how to install this part. You will have to remove your outer door. Then remove your control panel and disconnect the wire harness. You will also have to disconnect the wires from the dispenser, reed switch, and wax motor as well. After that has finished you will have to position the o ring and then bend tabs to secure the dispenser into place. It is recommended that you wear gloves to protect your hands.". Here is the video that from that other part, I am not sure if it may help: https://youtu.be/e_GNe3vT2nA. Good luck with your repair.

Detergent dispenser will not open during a wash
For model number she6af06uc/05
Hello Michael, Thank you for the question. If the dispenser is not opening it could be an issue with the wax motor on the back of the dispenser. The motor is not sold separate for the dispenser, PartSelect Number PS8730305 will need to be replaced. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!
