One top range burner will not light. Gas flows. No spark. Is it this switch (00428049) or the spark module (00619017) or something else.

The center front burner has a continuous spark when the gas knob is turned on. I cleaned the ignitor bit it continues to spark even with the flame heating it up

It generates the spark needed to ignite the gas in the burner and regulate the heat output. It is commonly found behind the burner control knob on the front panel of your appliance.
