Broil Element Specifications
If your oven isn’t heating properly when broiling or baking, this top-mounted heating element might be the fix you need. It sits at the very top inside your oven and gives off strong, direct heat—perfect for broiling steaks or helping with baking. It’s about 12 ½ by 18 ½ inches in size and runs at 3000 watts on 240 volts. Swapping it out is usually simple: just unplug the oven, remove the old part, and connect the new one in place. It’s made to fit a range of models and helps get your oven back to cooking like it should.

Electrical connection pulled off the element
When I pulled the element out of the back panel of the oven to remove it, the electrical connection got caught on the edge of the hole in the panel and disappeared back into the oven insulation. It was difficult to find and pull it back out to reinstall it on the new element.

Bottom elerment burnt into
First i removed the two screws that hold the element
in place. I the pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnect the 2 wires. The new one didn't come with the little holders at the front of the element and were very hard to get loose from the old element .i finally got them back on the new one and put it back in the stove. Pretty simple job though.

broil element was bad.
It was a little difficult by my self an extra hand would of made it much easier.I unscrewed the screws pulled the wires from the back of the oven which took a few minutes.I am not great at fixing things but once I got the old one out it went smoother than I expected.it took about 25-30 minutes with an extra hand could have made it 10 minutes.not bad over all for me.did I mention not very handy.did stun the wife that I fixed it on my own.thanks Bill

Broiler broke apart in pieces. Also we found an round honeycomb part
in the bottom of the oven when I was looking to see what was going on. My husband did the repair just as the video described. I suspect this part honeycomb round maybe ceramic piece goes over where the heat is vented from the oven. Where do I get another one of these and how does it attach in the oven-under the burner. HELP I tried to look on the schematics and did not see anything. The repair went fine, except when we turned everything back on it did not work. Then my husband remembered he forgot to plug the new part IN. Once plugged in it is working fine. Thanks
