Very noisy grinding during the load checking phase. I've replaced the clutch assembly and the agitator splines look fine but I'm still getting a loud grinding noise. This part wasn't listed as a fix under the "Noisy" symptom so I'm checking if this part is a candidate for fixing the grinding noise if the clutch and agitator are okay.
For model number WT5680HWA
Hi Amos,
Thank you for your question. If you have replaced the clutch housing assembly and the agitator splines and the washer is still making a grinding sound, we would recommend checking the stator. If the stator has been damaged or is malfunctioning, it may make a grinding noise. We hope this helps with the repair!
