We used the oven self cleaning yesterday. The oven door has still not unlocked after more than 16 hours since the self cleaning cycle has been completed. In addition, once the self cleaning was completed, the control panel went blank. Nothing is working on the front control panel. The elements on the stove are working.
We are wondering now how we unlock the stove door and what is wrong with the control panel?
For model number LG LSE3092T
Hello Alan,
Thank you for writing. Our research has found: It sounds like the control board likely failed during or after the self-clean cycle. When the control panel goes blank and the door stays locked, it’s usually due to a blown thermal fuse or a damaged electronic control caused by the high heat of self-clean.
Since the cooktop elements are still working, power is getting to the unit, but the oven controls are not. The recommended next step would be to disconnect power to the range for a few minutes to see if the control resets. If that does not restore the display or unlock the door, the oven control board will likely need to be diagnosed and replaced. PartSelect #: PS3533964 is what you will need. We hope this helps.

Our over is taking a long time to reach temp. It starts out good to about 250 then slows right down. Once it reach 300 and above it is out by approximately 40 deg. I’ve tested the resistance of the elements and they read good. I replaced the thermostat with no change. I suspect the control board in the back but don’t want to order one until I get a second opinion.

Hello: I submitted a question describing the problem we are having with our oven heating slowly and the temperature being inaccurate. We have discovered that if we go to convection the oven heats much quicker and the temperature is accurate. The problem seems to be only with the bake mode.

Hi Alan, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description you have provided, we would recommend checking the bake element, part number PS3535354. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope that helps!

Hi, the bottom element of my oven does not work. When i checked with a voltmeter i see no electricity is going to it. Even from the board itself. All other elements are working fine except for the bottom. I would like to order the PCB assembly but i see there is a main and sub. How can be sure which one is defective.
For model number LSE3092ST
Hi Bruno, thank you for reaching out. In order to make sure which of the board is defective, you may need to check both of them for continuity and replace the faulty one to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
