There is a tube inside the dishwasher door. Part K0140. What does this part do, and where does it terminate? Inside the tub?

Thank you for your question. The tube in the dishwasher would be the inlet hose, part number PS3527265. Based on the diagram it shows it runs near the vent, across the door and down the corner of the door. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
