Vent was broken and I needed replacement
This is a simple self do it repair which takes only few seconds to remove the old piece and replace it with the new one. It pops in and and out. Apply small pressure on ven as it goes in and as soon as I you hear click that means its in place.

The grill cover fell off.
The grill cover to my above range microwave had been damaged by the original installers. It was still in good enogh condition to work until recently when it got pulled on while cleaning. I had no idea what the part was called, so when this web-page had pictures, I still found it easily. The part arrived within days!!! It was the wrong color. but when I called, the lady was super nice and the new part arrived in days. Even with the mistake it took less than a week!!!! I couldn't have been happier. And now it's better than when I got bought the house new!!!

Vent grille replacement
Unpacked the vent grille and walked to the microwave. Lifted grille up to the vacant space. Applied a small amount of pressure while pushing the grille into place. Walked to the refrigerator to fetch part one of an Egg Nog beverage, then to the cupboard for the best part of the Egg Nog beverage. Stirred ingredients and continued with decorating the Christmas tree. Voila!

Broken Vent Grille for the microwave
Thanksgiving night, I found a rather large crack in the grille and it wouldn't stay in place. I placed the order for the replacement grille on Friday and received the new grille Monday. It just snapped in place, no tools necessary. I had contacted the Sears parts replacement department and all I got was attitude from the parts "help" desk. I'm glad I placed the order with Parts Select, the cost was cheaper and shipping was faster. I won't hesitate to use Parts Select the next time I need a part for any of my Whirlpool appliances.

Original vent grille clips broke off, so the grille would not stay on.
Just installed the new grille in place of the old one. (That is after I received the correct one, since I initially ordered a white one which definitely did not go with my stainless microwave!)

One of the 3 plastic tabs on the bottom of vent grill broke off and the grill will not stay attached. On the picture of part I do not see 3 tabs only two. Is there any way to fix my vent grill? I purchased this microwave sight unseen, very surprised this piece is plastic for an expensive appliance. Not the quality I expected from Whirlpool. I have had several Whirlpool appliances in the past and was very pleased with the quality but no so with model.
