How to check switch to find out if it is bad?
Hi John, Thank you for the question. Try blowing into the pressure hose to see if you hear a click. If not, replace the pressure switch. Hope this helps!

Sometimes the washer does not stop filling with water. I suspect the water level switch (like a leak in the diaphragm) or the hose (a leak in the hose or a leaky connection), because the main control switch can turn off the water if we notice it. Also, it does not always happen, and sometimes when it does the washer will stop the water-fill on its own. Are there additional items i should look at?
For model number WTW5810SW0
Hello Mark, thank you for your question. We recommend you test the Water Inlet Valve and Thermistor Assembly Part Number: WP3979346, the Water Pressure Hose - Cut-to-Fit Part Number: WP353244 and the Water Level Switch Part Number: PS3408119. The most likely issue is the hose and pressure switch as SOMETIMES the washer stops filling on its own, which means the valve is working. However, it might only be working periodically. Good luck with your repair!

Water level will not turn off low. Took knob off and can turn with adjustable wrench to any level. However, it really takes some pressure on the wrench to make it turn.

Hello Julian, Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend checking the following parts to fix your issue: water inlet valve and thermistor Assembly, water pump, water level switch, and lid switch. You can test the parts with a multimeter. Hope this helps!

Water control switch will not turn, cannot find a part associated with this model number. Many of the switches on line look identical but I don't know if they are compatible?

First my washer overflowed and then next load would not fill up as it was draining out the hose at the same time. Do you think it is the water level switch?
For model number 110.29522801
Hello Carol, Thank you for the question. This could be what is called the Siphon effect. Siphoning happens when the end of the washer drain hose is lower than the level of the water inside the washing machine. We suggest checking the Hose. We hope this helps!

The water level knob was hard to turn and i broke the whole thing trying to get it on large load. It broke on small load, i can not turn it with any pliers because the "stump" also broke off. What part do i order?
For model number WTW5700SW0
Hi Rose, thank you for your question. You would likely have to order the water level switch to replace that part that broke off. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
