Part works great, but inspect the repair site ahead of time
My element stopped working, so I came to this website and ordered a new one, never actually opening up the stovetop until the part arrived. At that point, I discovered the element had failed at the terminal connection and burnt up a connector. So there was some swearing involved as I figured out how to cut the burnt wire portion off and crimp on a new connector. After that, though, installing the element was easy and it works great!

When using the dual element feature, the small element works like it should. The large element comes on for a few seconds then ceases to operate. Then turning the unit off and back on, the large outside element will not heat at all. After allowing the unit to rest for a few minutes the same operation is repeated. The small unity works as it should but the outside unit works only a few seconds then ceases to operate at all.

The largest element when turned on stays on the hottest setting. Do we need to replace the element or something
