Freezer Door Gasket - Black Specifications
This door gasket is used to make an air-tight seal for the cabinet when the door is closed. Freezer door gasket is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part that fits some top-freezer refrigerators in these series: Kenmore 253; Kenmore Elite 253; Frigidaire BLRT, CFHT, CFTR, CGHT, DFHT, DGHT, FFHI, FFHT, FFTR, FGHT, FRT, FTHD, FTMD, GLHT, LFHT, LFTR, LGHT, NFTR and PLHT; Crosley CFTR, CRT and CRTE; and Kelvinator KATR.
Freezer door gasket 241872509 is on the inner door panel and creates a seal around the door to prevent warm air from entering the freezer compartment.
This freezer door gasket is black. It measures approximately 29.5 x 18.5-in.
Replaces top-freezer refrigerator freezer door gasket part numbers 240514609, 240542109, 240542121 and 5304439524.

ice was forming on inside of freezer. door not making complete seal.
door gasket just needed to be pulled out of edge around door and then the new one installed in the edge around freezer door.

Worn leaking gasket
First part sent dis not fit properly. Parts Select immediately provided a refund and sent another gasket which fit nicely. Watch a video if available - easy from there.
