Lifted the old one off and placed the new one on. Fits perfectly and looks great!

Bought a new oven with parts missing
There was actually no repair. I just had to put the burner caps in place and push on the burner knobs. But the great thing is the cost of the parts at Partselect.com was much cheaper than buying direct from the manufacturer or through the parts department at Home Depot, where I purchased the range. And no tax is a nice bonus. Very fast service and genuine GE parts. I highly recommend Partselect.com.

Old, scratched top griddle
Lift out old one and replace with new one. Also ordered an additional oven rack.
