I have the replacement drive bar for the ice maker. How do I get the old rusty one off?
For model number PHS69EJSS2
Hi Steven, Thank you for the question. The drive bar is just screwed in place. If it is rusted on and hard to remove you can try to use a pair of 45° needle nosed pliers and place them behind the drive bar and apply force on it away from the motor. While applying force, you can use a hammer to tap on the drive bar, to get the drive bar to grab the threads and thread off. Hope this helps!

The drive bar #10 that turns the ice auger pushes the ice bucket forward when activated causing the auger to 'cam' away from the drive bar. If the leading edge of the longer arm on the drive bar had a depression on it, that would trap the drive bar on the auger drive so it wouldn't jump off.
Is there another solution I don't know about?
For model number FFHS2611LWKA
Hello Cleve, thank you for your inquiry. According to our research, the issue is most probably with the drive cam, part number PS1526413. It rotates the auger to push ice into the dispenser chute. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this helps!
