Product Description
GASKET Specifications
This dishwasher door gasket seal is a durable, flexible rubber component designed to create a watertight seal between the dishwasher tub and door, preventing leaks during wash cycles. Made from high-quality rubber that withstands high temperatures, it ensures reliable performance and helps maintain proper cleaning efficiency. The gasket measures approximately the same size as the original seal and is easy to install—simply remove the old gasket and press the new one into the channel around the door. Ideal for resolving issues such as water leaking from the bottom or sides of the door or poor cleaning results.

Easy to install and excellent service
I’ve never thought of myself as a “handy person”, but after watching the included video, it was a snap. I saved about two hundred dollars by doing this simple repair myself. The customer service person that helped me was awesome and gave me the confidence I needed to give it a try. Thank you.

Leaking dishwasher
Removed old gasket. Cleaned the area and let dry. Aligned gasket, pressed into the groove. Corners are tricky, stretch and press to get a tight seal. Follow around appliance. Inital try, small leak. Adjusted seal second use no leak. 10/10 would recommend this part. Super easy self install.

The gasket listed on your website is to thick. So after installation the door would close. I put the old gasket back in the door closed. However, the dishwasher still leaks soap after a cycle..
As stated above the repair did not go well because the gasket was too wide and the door would close. Suggest you talk with Whirlpool about the part they sold you for my model of dishwasher.

Old door gasket was leaking.
Watched YouTube first of course. Pulled off the old gasket, found the center of the new gasket and started installing the gasket from the very top and all the way down the sides. I made sure it was in tightly and smooth. No more leak, should have listened to my wife sooner!
