Product Description
MOTOR,EVAPORATOR FAN Specifications
This genuine OEM evaporator fan motor is essential for maintaining consistent cooling inside your refrigerator by circulating cold air over the evaporator coils and distributing it throughout the fresh food and freezer compartments. A failing fan motor can lead to poor cooling performance, unusual noises, ice buildup, or error codes. If you notice these symptoms, replacing the motor can restore proper airflow and temperature control. Installation is straightforward—disconnect power, access the freezer compartment, and replace the old motor with the new one for reliable operation.

Works great exactly what I needed
The part came in super fast expected a week later. Exact piece and now our fridge is nice and cool. Was a bit expensive but I wanted one that will last, and not a china knock off.

Perfrct oem part
Called in. Explained problem over the phone. I was preety sure it was the evap phone and lady over the phone seemed to think the same. Took a chance since repairman came to my house charged me service call to tell me to defrost fridge for 72 hrs and charged diag fee. THe evap fan fixed my issue with my fridge dropping temperature and feeezer temp creeping up. Made sense since no ventilation to top fridge. It was also an intermittant problem.

Not the right part
Please read all of the reviews and check all possible symptoms. My Frigidaire Gallery Side by Side refrigerator was getting warm and the freezer section was warm and icing up. We received a few high temperature alarms and notifications. We could hear the fridge making noises and the let us to believe it was a faulty evaporator fan. In retrospect I believe the fan was ok it may have just been contacting some ice that was building up as a result of the warmth in the freezer compartment (Botton drawer type). It was very easy to change the fan and we did so and allowed the unit to completely defrost and reset. We let is sit for a couple days without power. After installing the fan and restarting the fridge it worked great for 2-3 days and then it started to build up ice and freeze up. Consequently the ice started to disturb airflow and the fridge got warm and then so did the freezer. We had to go back to the drawing board. I looked closely at the freezer door seal and it didn't appear to be contacting the fridge properly. I decided to order and install a new one. I unplugged the unit and it was unplugged for about a week until the seal arrived. It has been 3 days now and everything seems to be working normal. I hope it will be fine.
