If your fridge isn’t sealing properly or feels warm inside, this black rubber door gasket might be the fix. It fits French door-style refrigerators and helps keep cold air in and warm air out. You’ll need one for each door, and they’re sold separately. Replacing it is easy—just pull off the old one and press the new one into place. Make sure the door closes snugly afterward, and check your model to be sure it’s the right fit.

Perfect fit
Delivery of the parts was fast. Because I wanted to make sure I ordered the right parts I called up the company using the phone number supplied on the web site. I talked to a nice woman who took my refrigerator info and the serial number and assured me the parts she was sending would fit and if there was an issue I could always return for a money back refund .The parts came and fit perfectly(2 door seals) I had read the reviews and watched a video online on how to install but all I did was soak the seals in hot water in the bathtub to soften them and in 5 minutes had both of them installed. They both fit perfect.

Fast delivery works great
When you get the gasket you need to remove it from the box and lay it flat for at least 48 hours before installation. Laying it in the sun worked well for me.

Easy repair, perfect fit but a bit disappointed!
This was the second time I replaced the gasket at $250 a shot. The first time was about 10 years after I purchased the fridge, and three years later, the flaps were broken off and now, this replacement went on well, the bottom flap was poorly cut and after a few weeks, has wrinkled. Hopefully will remain functional!

Easy repair. Old gasket removed by hand in about one minute. The new gasket was pressed in place by hand in about 3 more minutes.

Gaskets on refrigerator french doors and freezer compartment needed replacement.
It's a very easy repair. However, there are no installation instructions included with the gaskets. Per videos I watched, it recommended that the gaskets be soaked in warm / hot water to make them more pliable when installing. Unfortunately, after installing the refrigerator gaskets, there were gaps that I could not seal resulting in an interior temperature of 48 degrees. For some reason, the gaskets appeared to be puckered thereby preventing a decent seal. I don't know if the puckering was caused by the soaking. I ended up reinstalling the old gaskets.
Reviwed an existing instruction ans was surprised at how easy it was to remove the existing gasket and replace it. No tools required at all.

Does this price include gaskets for both doors or is it for just one door
Hello Louis, thank you for your question. This price and part number is for one gasket only. Not a kit of two. I hope this helps!

I understand this is a gasket for one door and not two. But is it reversible? It needs to fit the left hand door.

I ordered the seal (wr14x10237) for this GE model cafe refrigerator. The seal doesn't seal at the bottom and leaks at the bottom of the door. I made sure that the seal was in the grooves and sat the same as the old one. I had to put the old one back. It doesn't work. Am I doing anything incorrectly. Can I return the seal?
For model number CWS21SSEAFSS
Hello Calvin, Thank you for the question. If the door is leaking water, the gasket is not the issue. The Gasket will keep a Air Tight Seal, not Water Seal. If Water is present you may have a clogged Drain Tube that is preventing the Defrost Water from draining into the pan below. Please see the link below for our return policy. We hope this helps! https://www.partselect.com/Thirty-Day-Returns.ht
How is strength of magnet on door gasket. Already replaced gasket once and the "catch" of seal/magnet is very weak.

I ordered item # 1766142 refrigerator door gasket for a GE French Door Cafe Refrigerator. The gasket does not seem thick enough and has left a gap around the door when shut so it does not seal.
For model number CWS21SSEAFSS
Hi Nicky, thank you for the question. The door gasket you have mentioned is compatible with your model. We would recommend checking the gasket to ensure that it is installed properly. You have to just press the door gasket from where you have seen the gap. We hope this helps!

I recently purchased a door seal for my GE Cafe refrigerator, easy to install. Today I notice condensation in the fridge & an increase in the fridge temp. I check the seals & new seal isn't sealing !. I saw in a video that The seal should be left on a flat surface & gently heated & massaged into shape. Hat do you think?
For model number CFCP1NIYCSS
Hello Donald, thank you for your inquiry. Yes, using a gentle heat from a hairdryer followed by softly massaging the new door seal can assist it in conforming to shape and sealing correctly, particularly if it isn't completely in place. Additionally, make sure the seal is entirely clicked into its channel around the door, verify that the refrigerator is level, and conduct the dollar bill test to confirm a proper seal is established. We hope this information helps!
