Will this part cause the Gfci to trip when the ice maker comes on?
For model number WRX735SDHZ01
Hello Billy, thank you for reaching out. We have found that the ice maker draws power upon startup, but normally not enough to cause a trip. However, if your water line to the fridge is disconnected, and the fridge attempts to start an ice cycle, the GFCI may trip. We would recommend checking the water lines of the refrigerator. If this is not an issue, you may need to check the defrost heater assembly, part number PS11738605. The defrost heater is a safety device that prevents the formation of ice inside the refrigerator. This heater removes heat from the air surrounding the refrigerator coils to keep moisture from settling on them and freezing. We hope this solves your problem!

Hello, when is the MOTOR-EVAP W11529245 supposed to be blowing?
What is the purpose of this fan?
For model number GZ25FSRXYY2
Hi Allen, thank you for reaching out. The evaporator fan motor is supposed to be blowing when the compressor is running. The purpose of this fan is to circulate air over the evaporator coils, which are responsible for absorbing heat from the refrigerator and freezer compartments. This circulation helps to maintain a consistent temperature throughout the refrigerator, ensuring that food is kept at the desired temperature. The fan also helps to prevent frost buildup on the evaporator coils by promoting even airflow. We hope this information helps!

Refrig is not cooling below 55 degrees but freezer is very cold at 0-4 degrees. Noticed air occasionally coming from vent inside refrig, but not much. Pulled icemaker out and found damper frozen closed with ice keeping it from opening. Replaced inlet fan motor more than a year ago, it now tests OL with multi meter (will replace). Would fan not running case damper to ice up is there an associated defroster within he ice cabinet that maybe problematic? Thanks for any help, I'm running out of parts to replace!
For model number GI6SARXXF06
Hi Tony, thank you for reaching out. It is likely that the issue is related to the air flow and damper system in your refrigerator. The damper is supposed to open and close to regulate airflow between the fridge and freezer. If it's frozen shut, that could prevent cold air from entering the fridge compartment. If the defrost system is not working properly, it could contribute to the damper freezing shut. However, the defrost system is usually designed to defrost the evaporator coils, not the damper itself. You may need to replace the damper control assembly, part number PS11750106, to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
