I have ice in the tray, but when I push the lever for the ice to come out the shoot, it make a grinding noise sounds like it is locked up, the ice doesn’t come out?

Hello Nancy, thank you for the great question. The issue seems to be with the ice bucket auger. It rotates to push the ice from the ice container into the dispenser chute. So I have water to the fridge .. but no water comes out .. has new filter .. is there a water solenoid valve in this unit ? when the paddle is pushed what controls the water flow ? Thx

Hello Timothy, thank you for your question. We would suggest taking a look at your water line first. Make sure it is connected correctly and not broken. If this does not help, you may need to check the water inlet valve, part number PS7784018. It supplies water to the ice maker and water dispenser in the refrigerator. Also, the switch, part number PS12724042. It controls water when you press the dispenser lever. We hope this solves your problem!
Both the water dispenser and the ice maker no longer work. There are no kinks in the supply line. I tried defrosting the area where the water comes to the ice maker bu that did nothing. Where is my problem?

Frigidaire model FFSS2614QS4A refrigerator is dispensing water. I installed a new water filter and still not working. I unhooked the output water line from the water filer value and then tried. Water pressure coming out of the value that feeds the tube to the door was very good. When I installed the new filter and tried the door dispenser, I can hear water running filling the new filter, then it stopped. What else could it be?

If the problem persists, then you may need to replace the water filter base, part number PS12364175, to solve the problem. It holds the water filter and connects the water lines to the water filter. I buttons on the freezer door do not change the Ice setting to crushed Ice. I replaced the Solenoid and Yoke. I can manually hold down the yoke and it provides crushed Ice. What should I check next?
