There is a metal shim inside the d-shaped stem of the knob. Is there a possibility of getting that piece or do you have to purchase the knob? Thank you.

Does the plastic that comes from the base of the knob and that is inserted at the base of the stove, has a security click that keep it fixed?

Hi Mario, Thank you for the question.In the back of the knob there is a D shape clip that grips the shaft that is attaches to the burner valve. Hope this helps!
