Is the raised portion of the mullion flipper intended to engage in the guide? As installed, the mullion is too low to engage the guide and there is no mechanism that automatically closes the flipper and seals the fresh food cabinet.

Hello Jane, thank you for your question. Yes, it is supposed to engage in the guide. We have an installation video for a different brand that may be of some help to you. Good luck with your repair.

Does this mullion flipper support have a heater in it?
