Loud fan noise coming from back of freezer compartment behind the ice tray area is this where this fan is located?

Hello Davis, thank you for your question. Yes, there is a fan motor in the back of the freezer compartment. You will want to remove the food from the lower half of the freezer compartment. Once done remove the screws securing the rear wall in the freezer compartment. Lift the top cover at the bottom to remove the fan assembly and replace the fan if necessary. I hope this helps.

I purchased a Part #242018301, which is definitely the wrong condenser fan motor. Wring harness was configured totally different. So, I researched a suggested alternative part#PS12729077 (Frigidaire part#808602602 ). How can I be sure this part will fit my model?
