Like a knife trought butter
The longest part of the process was to find the right angle to aproche it. Get the diswasher on its side. Grap the old one and get the new one in. Doesn't hurt to take your time doing it. But it a simple fix.

Circulation pump very noisy....something wasn't correct
Followed whirlpool Youtube available for DIY.
Caution....ensure that the pump POWER plug does not loosen when reinserting the pump/drain/filter (middle of dishwasher bottom). The plug can get offset if it hits the electrical conduit or water feed/drain hoses under the dishwasher.
Minimal water when disconnecting drain hoses...have towels at the ready.
Again, follow the Youtube video!

Pump quit working
Removed the old pump, got part number from it, ordered the part. Simply a matter of slipping the new pump into place, reconnecting the electric, testing the machine out to make sure it did not leak. Then slid back in place with the cabinets.

I started to smell what seemed like hot plastic or wiring when I ran the dishwasher recently. It doesn't sound right starting up -- you can usually hear it start to pump water in/out. Now it's super, super quiet. I don't trust it, so I unplugged it. I'm not sure how to diagnose what part I need. It didn't pump out water when it was done with the last batch of dishes I ran.
For model number WDT710PAYM3
