The dishwasher would not spray water. It would pump water out and fill just not spray.
I followed the instructions on the Whirlpool site for my model and part (pump and motor assembly). It was a bit hard to get the original assembly out of the dishwasher. They make it look easy but if you look at the dishwasher they are using you will realize that it is brand new. So everything comes apart and goes together smoothly for them. That is not how it happens in reality. I am a woman of average size and had never done any kind of repairs to a dishwasher before. So, it was not easy. I was however able to get it apart and put back together. And now it works!!

Water wouldn’t circulate
-Unplugged the dishwasher. -Removed dish racks, filters and spray arms. -removed drain pump and drain lines. -unplugged turbidity sensor and power connectors. -unlocked the 3 locking connectors, removed the pump and motor assembly. - cleaned every component with soap and water. - applied rinse aid to the motor and pump assembly gasket. -placed pump and motor assembly into the correct position and had a helper hold the assembly down while I locked in the connectors. -work backwards.

Dishwasher filled and emptied water, but would not spray water around during cycle.
Husband is wonderful, tipped dishwasher over on back, disconnected hoses, and drain motor (replaced that a couple years ago), popped out old part, popped in new part. Had me help him keep door open when working from the inside, and flip a plastic holder piece into place on outside. 15 minutes later, I had a dishwasher that worked like new again.

Dishwasher is filling however no spraying out of the sprayers and it will draining after some time goes on its cleaning cycle.

Hi Brian, thank you for your question. There are a few parts that you should check when you are having this issue. The first parts to check would be your filters and tubing and spray arms. You will want to check that there is absolutely no debris blocking the paths for the water to run smoothly. You may also want to take a look at your water inlet valve as well and make sure enough water is going into the appliance. If those parts are all fine, then the problem might actually be in your Pump and Motor. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Dishwasher fills, sounds like pump is making a noise but nothing then it goes and drains. Is it circulator pump or pump and motor?

Washer fills with water, heats up a bit, but does not run. It will drain if asked by programming. Panel seems tk allow programming. Left on sensor clean, tried heavy wash, same, fill no run. Problem?

I bought and installed this part because my dishes weren't coming clean. My spray arms weren't spinning. I of course checked for blocks I even just got new ones. I figured either my water pump was going bad or clogged itself. So I ordered this. I just installed it today and on first run it seems as if spray arms are still in same position as starting position. I opened dishwasher right after it started the 1 hr wash cycle to see that water was coming out and if the spray arms had moved. I could see water was coming from the spray arm on top can't really tell from the bottom but they both are still in the same position and do not appear to be rotating. It has drained once now and I checked again still seems to be in the sane place. I hear water but they just won't spin what else can I do
