The black strip that runs along the top of the dishwasher door and contains all the control commands has had a piece of the black plastic broken off on both sides of the door. It seems that the black plastic top piece of the control panel hangs just barely over the side of the door and my wife's pants get caught on it and have snapped the plastic end off on both sides. The control panel is still completely functional but it looks bad and will need to be replaced. Any suggestions on the part that would work?

CONTROL PANEL NOT WORKING, LIGHTS BUT WHEN I PRESS IT WONT DO ANYTHING? WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR

My dishwasher is having fits. It will beep randomly especially if the door gets closed between washings. The panel will freeze up in the control lock and it requires turning off the breaker multiple times to clear it out. The no sound off button will not engage, sometimes it does random things. Do I need a new control panel?

The control panel lights up when you press the buttons for pro wash, tough, and normal soil cycles - but do not light up for the “light” soil cycle, and for both speed cycle settings. (All other options lights and delay timer lights seem to light up as well.) And no matter what settings are selected, the “start” button does not start the dishwasher. Should I replace the control panel, or what can I check to see if a different issue is causing the dishwasher not to run? Thanks

The touch panel works normally when starting a wash, but when shutting off at the end of cycle, the door must be lowered and raised before the “cancel” button responds. Does this require replacing the touch panel orsomething else .
