Repair fine
Only difficulty was getting door apart. don’t remove lower screws that attach to lever. Don’t need to be removed and painful to reattach.

Need to be careful removing existing handle
The part fit perfectly and is easy to just snap into the skin, but the de-installation of the old handle takes a little effort. First it is desirable to remove all the screws holding the door panel to the front covering skin, on which the handle is attached. This will provide for greater access to extract the existing handle. I had to trim the securing tabs off the old handle before the it would come free. A more risky option would be to remove fewer screws and use brute force to break and extract the handle. However, the thin cover skin could get bent in the process.

Great part - easy repair
I am a repeat partselect customer. Ordering from here and installing the parts yourself is a great way to save money. The dishwasher door handle arrived very quickly and took me about 30 minutes to install. Dishwasher looks like new.

Replacing the pocket handle on a Bosch Dishwasher
I removed the 3 #20 torn screws in the handle, and the six #20 tore screws inside the door that hold the outer door skin in place.
The plastic handle has a series of molded hooks that allow it to snap into the stainless steel skin.
To avoid damaging the skin, use a utility knife to cut behind the two large hooks on the bottom of the handle and the one on each end. One trimmed, the handle easily slides out of the door skin.
The new one will effortlessly snap in-place, then reposition the door skin and fasten with the 9 screw previously removed.

Handle on Bosch dishwasher had cracked
1) Remove the three torx screws securing the handle.
2) Open door. Placing some cushions under the door makes the operation easier.
3) Remove the 12 torx screws securing the door skin. Note the screws are of two sizes. The lower 6 are shorter and fatter than the upper 6, that also secure the control panel.
4) It’s useful to have a 2nd person or a counterweight to secure the door once the skin is removed.
5) Remove the old handle by snapping the securing tabs.
6) New handle is press to fit.
7) Return skin to door and re-insert screws to secure.
8) Re-insert the three handle screws.
Notes
1) A three red wire cable plug was floating in the breeze when i removed the skin. I assumed it had pulled loose during removal of the skin so inserted back into the control panel but the washer would not power up with it inserted. On removal it worked fine. Not sure it it serves a model specific function.
2) It may be possible to use a car trim pry tool to remove the handle but I was concerned the stainless might be distorted.
