Broiler Element was as expected
It was good to finally receive the part after it was back ordered and it was worth the wait because it fitted perfectly and we now have an oven back in working order in time for Christmas.

So grateful for your fast service….
After waiting 6 weeks for a local appliance company to get this part in, I was told that it was not available. I ordered directly from Parts Select and had the needed part delivered in two days. My husband installed it that night and we are back to being able to use our oven/broiler again. So grateful for such fast service from Part Select! We will definitely go to you first the next time we need an appliance part.

A modified part
I was happy as soon as I opened the box and I found this element had been modified. The last replacement of this broil element had the connecting tips too long that touched the back of the oven, and that caused the short circuit. This time around, however, the tips have been redesigned so that they are angled, and that avoid touching the back of the oven. So it serves the purpose. And I hope it would last as long as it should be.

Top element was burned out
I removed three screws, pulled the element out from the rear wall, unplugged the electrical connections, reversed these steps in installing the new element. "A Piece Of Cake!"

The broil element quit working
First I removed the four torx screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires.
Then I installed the new element in reverse order. Recycled the cardboard box and the old element.
