The paint on the flat beater for my electric mixer was chipping
I inherited an electric mixture from my mother-in-law after she died in 2004. The mixer must have been from the 70s. I guess I could buy a new one but I think of her each time I use it and it is almost like I keep a piece of her alive. The paint on the flat beater was chipping and instead of potentially poisoning my family I knew I needed to either replace the mixer or get a new Flat Beater. Replacement of beaters
The Kitchenaide Artisan stand mixer was purchased as a floor model. The two white beaters had worn and chipped spots on them. I purchased two replacement beaters from Part Select. They arrived the next day in great shape. Have used the mixer several times since and it has worked wonderfully.
needed a new beater since old one was chipping and had coating flaking off.

I just purchased a new part as the old beater (not that old) no longer fit into the mixer and the paint was chipping. Not sure why it had happened. Is it dishwasher safe?

Hello Ronit, thank you for contacting us. I have heard this before, from people putting them in the dishwasher. I would recommend hand washing those parts, they are powder coated and that can start to come off in the dishwasher. Hope this helps!

I need a replacement beater. Most seem to be for tilt head mixers. Will this one work with my mixer?Does this come in a stainless version or in a silicon version? the paint chipped from my beater and i am not comfortable using it.
i purchased the mixer on april 25, 2007. i probably only use it 6 or 7 times a year, so the failure of the beater is disappointing.

In reference to a kitchen aid heavy duty mixer i am missing the paddle. I have the wire whip and dough hook. The model number above is the one one the bottom of the mixer. I enter the model number and your site gives me a list of model numbers close to mine, but not the one. The serial number is wm0323494. This is an old mixer and it works great!
