I have an Amana gas range. We were having a problem with the oven temp. I replaced the oven temp sensor and it was fine. It is now 100 degrees over. Do i change the electric control next?

Hello David, Thank you for your inquiry. You can check the control board to see if it has continuity with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, there are YouTube videos available to assist you. Hope this helps!

My oven light bulbs were constantly burning out. I replaced the socket/bulb assembly and the light does not work. Do you think it could be in the control board. I am not getting voltage to the socket.
For model number AGR563OBDW1
Hi David,
Thank you for your question. If the light bulbs are constantly burning out in your stove and you have just replaced the socket, the issue could be that light bulb is in to tight. If it is screwed in too tight, you may get electrical arcing between the brass tab and the light bulb causing them to burn out faster. A loose wire can also cause the light bulbs to burn out. You should make sure the connections to the socket are fitted correctly and the wiring connected to the socket is fine. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
