How to remove this kick plate. I've removed the screws but pulling doesn't work and I don't want to break it.

I have a Maytag refrigerator model number MFI2568AEW, if looking at the refrigerator on the left side, the door will not stay open. Do you know what might be broken and if so. What is the part number that I need to order. Thanks!!!
