Hi Gordon, thank you for contacting us. If your mixer is not working, it may have a failed speed control plate, electronic control board, tripped motor, or motor overload switch. If the motor buzzes but is not spinning, and the motor brushes are both okay, then you most likely need to replace the motor because the motor windings are bad. My ksm is 7 yrs old and i've had to replace the speed control three times (that makes 4 controls in 7 yrs.). The mixer isn't used more than 15 times a year and never for bread dough. Why does this keep happening?
