Where is this part located on the fridge? If i need to go through the freezer (bottom mount) how is the drawer removed?
For model number MFW2055DRE00

Hi Dennis,
Thank you for your inquiry. This part is located in the freezer part of the appliance. You will have to remove your drawer to get at the back of the freezer. First you will remove the drawer in your freezer. There are retaining clips on the slides for your freezer drawer. Push those in with a flat head screw driver and you will then be able to pull your freezer door off. Once you have everything removed from inside of your freezer, you will have access to the back panel. Release any covers on your back access panel. You should see your evaporator fan at this point. Disconnect all of the wires keeping the part in place and unscrew the mounting bracket that the fan is on. You will then be able to pull it out of your appliance and replace your motor. Good luck with your repair.

Fridge was not staying cold, freezer was cold. Fan for blowing air to frindge is on, but doesn't seem to be blowing very fast. I did find a large chunk of ice behind freezer shroud and removed ice build up. Plugged unit back in, freezer is at 0 after a few hours, fridge still not cooling fast. I did not test fan with ohmmeter yet because it spins. What should I test or try next? Both fans are spinning on their own.

Hello Doug, thank you for your query. We would recommend checking the damper control assembly, part number PS11751310, to fix the issue. The air damper control assembly controls the cold airflow from the freezer compartment into the refrigerator compartment. If this is stuck in between or is faulty, the refrigerator may not cool. We hope this solves your problem!

I replaced the evaporator fan motor. Now the fridge is leaking water out the freezer. I took off the back wall and cleaned out ice from the tray under the coils. I see a small drain, is there a diagram where that drain goes so I can clean that out better?
For model number Wrf560smyb02

Hi Douglas,
Thank you for your question. The parts diagram we show the drain hose is does not show where it is located in the refrigerator, but it is usually found at the bottom of the fresh food or freezer sections of your refrigerator. We hope this helps!

Refrigerator was not cooling
Unplugged the refrigerator, removed the bottom freezer door, removed the two sliding shelves, removed the ice maker. Took the inside back wall off to expose the evaporator motor (have to bend it a bit to get it out. Used a small socket to remove the shroud and the evaporator motor. Installed the new motor and before putting it back together, plugged it in to ensure that the fan and motor worked. Then reassembled. Highly recommend knowing your brand and model#, and "Google" and YouTube it for additional help if you need it.
