My freezer door will not stay shut when I close the refrigerator.

Thank you for your question. If the freezer door is not shutting correctly, check to see if the freezer door gasket is adhering to the door, if it is not you may have to replace it. If it has dirt or grime on it, try cleaning it to see if this will help. Check to see if there are any packages in the freezer that may be preventing the door from closing and sealing correctly. Make sure the lower freezer basket is seated correctly by wiggling it to see if it is firmly seated in the slides. If the door is not closing correctly, check the hinges and see if they are installed correctly and adjust them if they are not. If they are damaged or worn, you will need to replace them.
